About Mitch

I was born and raised in Dryden, Ontario and received my musical education from Donna Langdon, ARCT, R.M.T. In 1991, I was awarded the Rose Bowl at the Kenora Festival of the Arts for performances at the Grade Ten level (RCM). After graduating magna cum laude from the University of Ottawa with a BA (1995) and an MA (1997) in English, I came to London to pursue doctoral work at the University of Western Ontario. I am currently lecturing in English, Writing and Film at King’s University College, working towards the ARCT diploma from the Royal Conservatory of Music, and studying organ with Paul Merritt, music director and organist at First-St. Andrew’s United Church.
