Piano Lessons

Some music teachers like to claim that musical training develops our cognitive ability or inculcates a disciplined approach to school studies. The rewards of studying music, I believe, are more profound; for piano study, which may give a lifetime of pleasure, is an art and not a science. To make one’s way into a challenging piece of music and bring it to technical and musical fluency; to lose oneself in beautiful music of one’s own making; to share with another person one’s discovery of feeling: these are some of the real pleasures that come from a dedication to the art of the piano.

I teach the Royal Conservatory of Music curriculum and am currently accepting beginner students of all ages at my piano studio located in London’s downtown core.
